Day Workshops

We will guide you through the process of making unique & personal papers, using recycled natural fabrics, plant fibres & vintage paper. From soggy slush to fine, silken surfaces, enjoy immersing yourself in a sensuous & physically engaging  activity. Wear waterproof shoes!

Bring your own contributions, such as special paper, leaves & petals from your garden & pieces of fabric.

You will leave with new skills &  memorable pieces of paper which can be displayed as they are or used in a variety of art & craft projects.

DSC00578Weekend Course

A weekend introduction to the techniques (and a little theory) involved in hand papermaking and the creative uses you can put it to. You’ll start with basic papermaking using plant based and vintage papers, going on to experiment with inclusions, layering with colours and embossing. To create unique artworks you’re encouraged to bring along items that mean something to you, that can be included in the re-invented paper, such as old clothes (cotton and linen), old paper and plant fibres from the wild or your garden.
